My mom had been admitted to the hospital the day after Thanksgiving. Each time she has hospital stays, she always comes to 2CE being a dialysis patient. Gwen is an awesome nurse and each visit we had she was always my mom's nurse. She is very knowledgeable and always so informing of mom's kidney disease. She always makes sure we understand what is going on.
During the second stay after Thanksgiving, mom's potassium was extremely high, and it started to affect her heart rate. Gwen immediately jumped on the situation. She's always concerned about her patients and it makes me feel good that I have such an awesome nurse to care for my mother. She always has a sense of urgency!
