My twins were born at Seton Hays, and twin B was brought to Northwest due to capacity issues in Kyle. We as parents were understandably pretty distraught about being separated from our newborn! When we finally arrived at Northwest, this nurse was our daughter's nurse. It was immediately apparent that our girl was in capable hands. Six days of our eight-day stay, this nurse was with us. I truly feel like I wouldn’t have been able to get through this time without her. She was the biggest blessing to us. She allowed me to cry with her and listened with non-judgemental ears when I needed support. I felt completely safe and comfortable leaving my daughter in her nurturing and skilled hands. I am so thankful to her for caring for my child when I couldn’t and in turn caring for me and allowing me to heal. She is an absolute blessing and asset to your NICU staff. Thank you so much for everything! I hope to never come back here again, but would absolutely do it over again if I knew that this nurse was going to be caring for us! She's the best!
