Finally, mom is getting released. One of her main nurses and one of her favorites, Gwennie, said the sweetest thing to her as a goodbye. She said:
"I want you to know what an absolute pleasure it has been getting to care for you; you've been such an incredible inspiration to me. You are such a sweet and loving and compassionate woman. I've prayed for you every day since the first day I met you. Thank you, and you will continue to be in my prayers."
By the end of that, we were all crying. Mom has been through hell and back, and we know the journey continues but a huge shout out the nurses and care professionals like Gwennie! Even in the middle of all of this, there have been so many tremendous blessings!
