Gwynne Rawlins-Novicki, RN, BSN

A patient on Renal had been hospitalized for 11 days and needed to attend his son’s funeral and viewing. Gwynne reached out to her department manager so arrangements could be made for him to attend. They reviewed the policy and followed the steps to get the patient ready for the funeral. The patient and family are appreciative of Gwynne’s compassion and excellence.

Gwynne is always receptive to her patients' needs, physically and emotionally. She has an emotional intelligence that is nurturing. She is a good patient advocate and unit leader.
