She’s the parents’ most favorite choice of a nurse in our Pediatrics Unit to take care of their children. She shows support and compassion to all her patients, their families, and colleagues. She is a senior nurse, very knowledgeable and skillful.
One of the most important patient stories is that of a chronic patient that was admitted to our unit for several months. Hadeel was like his “mother”. The patient’s mother entrusted her with his care and was their go-to-choice of a caring and compassionate nurse. Hadeel played an instrumental role in educating the mother of the patient about home care.
Another great patient story is related to the admission of a 6-day-old female baby patient to our Pediatrics Unit for Phototherapy. This baby was crying and refusing to eat. Hadeel's extraordinary assessment skills and sound clinical judgment helped in the quick management of the patient. It turned out that the baby was in Sepsis and she was transferred to the NICU. Hadeel also supported the family and provided them with timely updates about the baby’s condition.
