She cried with me, laughed with me, and hugged me when I needed it.
My fiancé went into systematic failure – heart, liver, and kidney failure. Once we arrived at the ER, his condition declined very rapidly. It only got worse after we were moved to the CCU. When they saw he was holding on better than they expected, we were moved to Comfort Care, where Hailey had been floated to that day. God definitely put her where she needed to be that day. She came in to check if we needed anything frequently, and when I needed a break to step outside, she took my place and watched over him for me. One of those times, when I returned, I found them praying together. I was completely alone through this whole ordeal despite being told multiple times that I should have someone there for support. For some of us, that is nearly impossible. I called several people who said they would be there in a bit, but nobody ever showed up. I think Hailey noticed and decided to be that person for me. And I 100% believe that on that day, God put Hailey where she was needed the most.
I feel I owe her my life because, without her, I’m sure I would have lost my sanity. I can’t tell her thank you so very much early enough! She cried with me, laughed with me, and hugged me when I needed it. She was going to come and say hi on Thanksgiving, but sadly, my fiancé passed before then. Thanks again, Hailey. Much love to you and yours.
