December 2025 Honoree
Hailey Swink, RN
When I was admitted to the hospital after surgery, I felt anxious, overwhelmed, and in constant pain. One nurse in particular, Hailey, made all the difference. She didn't just check my vitals or bring medication; she took the time to explain every step of my care, making sure I understood what was happening and why. When I was too uncomfortable to sleep, she sat with me for a few minutes, reassuring me and adjusting my pillows until I finally found relief. Her kindness went beyond medical care; she treated me like a person, not just a patient. That compassion gave me the courage to focus on healing instead of fear. Looking back, it wasn't just the medicine or procedures that helped me recover; it was the comfort and dedication Hailey provided. She reminded me that healing comes not only from treatment, but also from the genuine care of someone who chooses to make a difference.
Thank you, Hailey, for your exceptional compassion, advocacy, and dedication to your patients. You truly make a difference.
