Every time I'm in a room with Nurse Haley Brown, she talks in a soft-spoken tone to the patient and parents assuring they know every detail of everything going on, so they are not worrying or questioning anything. She always accommodates for the patient and families to make sure they are comfortable and checks up on them with care; not just because she must round, or an event came up where she must go in a room. Her diligence in making sure everything is done in the best way is the only way she functions.
Even on a busy day, or a day Haley may not be feeling her best, she puts aside the outside factors and puts all focus on the pediatric patients so they get the best Emergency Room care they can receive. She is an inspiration to me to become a better caretaker and to put all your heart into all your work. It is then reflected in these kids and how quickly they recover. We are so fortunate to have a nurse like Haley here at Wolfson.
