My husband and I were expecting our first child. I was past 40 weeks and I was told I was low on fluid and needed to be induced. When we arrived, everything happened so fast. When it was time for the induction process to start, Haley was there to help us through it all. She explained everything and helped us through the process, while the entire time making sure I was alright and my husband had everything he needed. I was told early in the morning that I would need a c-section, and Haley again explained everything. She sat down and made sure we fully understood what was going on. I told her I was nervous as my sister had a bad experience with a c-section. She stayed with me in the operating room when we found out my husband could not be in there due to me being put to sleep, and she kept my husband and mother informed. She was there when I woke up. She explained everything and told me what to expect in the few hours after surgery. During my surgery, her shift was over, but she remained with me hours after to make sure I was all right.

My daughter was taken to NICU at Hershey (medical center), and Haley was great about keeping me informed. This was hard for my husband and I but it was a little bit easier with Haley there to help. She was a great support person while my husband traveled to see our daughter and my mother was at work. Haley made a huge impression on us, and we love that she went above and beyond for all of us, especially our daughter. We are forever grateful.
