Haley Sexton, RN

Haley Sexton has been excellent, a wonderful example of what a nurse should be. She has assisted us from check-in through beginning chemotherapy. She is exceptionally upbeat, positive, a great communicator, and fast-acting. She assisted another nurse with a port issue with my son, and told me about each step. She kept calm under pressure when there was a clot forming in a part of the line. She made sure she told me where she felt like there were issues, she called for the doctor who assisted to discuss the issue, and did not leave, get distracted, or get frustrated when she had to clear the clot from the port line. Haley also has a great way of communicating with young children, my son is comfortable with her and she is so throughout with us both. It’s made navigating this leukemia diagnosis immensely better.
