My daughter is a 35-year-old handicapped person. During our stay at the hospital, Halie has shown herself to be awesome. In particular, one day she only had about 3 patients and I had my daughter up and in a wheelchair. I asked Halie if she could watch my daughter so I could go outside. She said yes so, I pushed my daughter outside the door where Halie could see her.
When I came back, they were listening to music, eating crackers, and Halie was brushing my daughter's hair. She was interested in knowing what my daughter's signs meant. My daughter knew Halie's voice, so she was feeling her face trying to put a face with the name. The next day, my daughter needed an IV and Halie didn't want to do it because she didn't want to have to keep sticking her (so compassionate). Halie's friend did it for her. Thanks, Halie, for caring for my daughter.
