Halima knew my husband was depressed because of his condition and was lonely to see his constant companion, Molly (his big dog). She went out of her way to coordinate a great visit between Molly and D. She worked with family to get D up in a wheelchair and out in the garden area outside. I cannot tell you how much that lifted D's spirits and Molly was so excited as well. That little visit made a huge difference in a hospital stay that was probably one of many to come. It might not take a big act to make all the difference in the world to a very sick patient. It's a secret weapon used by those with a caring heart and a true desire to heal.
