Halina is also one of the 3 NICU nurses that were singled out for being extraordinary caregivers. The family stated they connected with Halina the first day they met her and cared for their baby like she was her own child. She developed a bond with our daughter. Every time we were discouraged or started to lose faith, she would pump us up with enthusiasm and confidence. She made it her mission to get our daughter to the point where she could come home.
