Hallie Liskow, MHA, BSN, NE-BC
Eleven team members nominated Hallie, including nurses, physicians, patient access staff, social workers, and community health liaisons. Here are just a few highlights of her nominations:
Hallie has created a safe, empathetic environment where staff feel supported, positively impacting their ability to provide the best care. She is calm, focused, and solutions-driven.
Hallie continuously strives to improve patient satisfaction by resolving issues and reassuring anxious patients and families. She handles family concerns with both grace and a respect for professional boundaries and health disparities. Hallie has shown an unwavering commitment to patient and employee safety, responding thoughtfully, with action, and with transparency.
She serves as a liaison between many departments and groups within Cardinal Glennon and the surrounding community, focusing on providing the highest-quality care for at-risk populations.
Hallie drives change and catalyzes positive improvements. She mentored a charge nurse on a great idea: implementing a standing order for transcutaneous bilirubin screening to identify at-risk patients and streamline clinic flow. Hallie partnered with another nurse leader to develop the Leader Internship program, supporting house-wide succession planning efforts.
Hallie consistently fosters a culture built on trust, compassion, respect, and advocacy. What sets Hallie apart is her genuine commitment to an open-door policy. She actively invites communication, creating a space where her team feels safe to be heard. By empowering us to give honest, constructive feedback to one another, she has cultivated a genuinely positive, transparent atmosphere where we feel like partners in care rather than just employees.
