January 2023 Honoree
Hanellete Constantino, BSN, RN
Hanellete came as a typical first-timer foreign nurse which is shy, introverted, not confident, and passive, but the difference is I saw the compassion and care she gives to the patient that really comes from the heart. What is outstanding about her is that she never complains about whatever her duty would come whether it is a busy shift or an easy one, whether she has a difficult patient or relaxed assignment, she still smiles, and continuously displays calmness and dedication all throughout her care.
Now that she is one of the senior nurses, her caring and compassion intensify and she is more responsible. She developed a sense of accountability, flexibility, and maturity in dealing with complex circumstances. Her compassion never changes and this reflects her care during her tenure in the unit, not a single complaint from the patient or family just high praises and thanks for the remarkable and exceptional service that they received from her. She is a nurse that you can trust, depend on, and be assured that our patient is in good hands.

Thank you, Hanellete, for your exceptional compassion, advocacy, and dedication to your patients. You truly make a difference.
