From the moment this nurse came into my room, she went what I felt was above and beyond to take care of me and my new baby. I never had to ask for anything while she was my nurse. She stayed on top of my meds, water, making sure I was comfortable, and making sure my baby was comfortable. She always made sure to ask if she could get me anything or do anything for me. She was very punctual with her time as well if she said she would be back at 1 she was back at 1. I never had the thought she forgot about me or the baby. She never made me feel guilty or unsure of the choices I made as far as bottle feeding, taking stronger pain medication, or even taking the MMR shot before leaving. She ultimately let me decide without hesitation or judgment which means a lot! I was happy to find out she was my nurse again on my second day because I knew that my baby and I would feel like her top priority and I know she had more patients than me and my baby but she made me feel like I was the most important. If I was to ever have another long hospital stay I would want her as my nurse again. She explained everything before doing it so I always knew what to expect and that goes a long way with me. She works hard to take care of her patients and makes them feel the most important this is why she is more than deserving of this award.
