Hanna was so very helpful and patient while caring for my elderly mother in the ER. When the doctor came into the ER room and began discussing the severity of my mother’s condition and Advanced Directive options, Hanna could see the confusion and concern on my face. She took time to stop and reiterate to me what each detail in the Advanced Directive options were and made sure that I understood. Hanna reiterated to me that our selections did not mean that we were going to cease treating my mother, but what would happen if her heart stopped, or she stopped breathing. After her reiteration, my coherent mother also had a better understanding and was able to verbalize what her wishes were if the circumstances occurred. Hats off to Hanna for ensuring 100% understanding was displayed by both myself as well as my elderly mother!
