Being pregnant with our first child was a scary thing, but getting induced on top of it was even scarier. I walked into my induction, scared out of my mind of all the things that could go wrong. The moment I met my nurse, Hannah Anderson, a wash of relief fell over me. Every single step was thoroughly explained, and every question was taken seriously, no matter the situation. When I needed help making a decision, Hannah provided great insight into what she thought would be best, but never pressured me into a decision, and she supported it. She always walked in with a smile on her face and made great conversation. I was extremely comfortable throughout the entire delivery and postpartum period, and I give all the credit to Hannah. My husband also felt very relaxed and supported by Hannah as he addressed all his questions and concerns. She was with us for three days, and it was the best three days! I believe Hannah Anderson deserves the DAISY Award because of her exceptional attitude and the way she made me feel like a priority throughout the entire process of becoming a new mom. Because I had such a great experience, I will 100% be telling everyone about how great she was!
