April 2024 Honoree
Hannah Barwick, RN
I’m a 60-year-old man who suffers from chronic pancreatitis, which had me in extreme pain upon admission. An emergency surgery was needed immediately, and I was transferred by ambulance to the downtown facility. I’ve always shown a light on the level of health care of which I am being treated. Right from the gate, Nurse Hannah Barwick knew I was in some sort of pain, especially after briefing her on my experience that has brought me directly back to the hospital after having surgery 3 days ago. Thank you, Heavenly Father for Nurse Hannah, because she really helped orchestrate the perfect treatment. I am truly grateful to Nurse Hannah for hope regarding me getting healing for my condition. My pain medication was distributed whereas I didn’t have to suffer the entire day trying to deal with the pain. Truly for the first time in quite a while, I felt hope that my life just may not be clearly over. I actually was able to move around freely without the anchor of pain that shadows over me day and night. Thank you, Nurse Hannah, for giving me hope.
Thank you, Hannah, for your exceptional compassion, advocacy, and dedication to your patients. You truly make a difference.
