Hannah received her DAISY nomination from a co-worker:

Hannah had a patient who was admitted to the hospital for an intentional drug overdose. Hannah did an incredible job comforting the patient. She supported her patient physically and emotionally. She made the patient feel like someone cared for her and that her life was worth living.

I am filling this out as the sitter who was with the patient. Hannah did a fantastic job of communicating to the patient that it was okay to have these feelings, and it was evident that she helped the patient tremendously by listening to and talking with her.

I am currently in nursing school. I hope to be an exceptional nurse and be capable of giving the quality care that Hannah demonstrated with this patient today!
