She went above and beyond, filling the void of the bereavement Doula when she discovered that there wasn’t any available to meet with us.
My husband and I were driving through a Christmas light display when I was 19 weeks pregnant and started having complications. After several trips back and forth to Magee, on the day we met Hannah, I remember being so grateful that we had hit 20 weeks, so we could go up to triage. Out of all of the medical staff that we encountered on these visits, Hannah stood out. She listened, gave feedback, did all of her tasks with precision, and comforted us more than we could possibly relay. We unexpectedly met up with our Angel, Hannah, again when I went into preterm labor at 21 weeks and delivered our stillborn daughter in labor and delivery. Again, we felt heard, reassured, cared for calm and comforted. She went above and beyond, filling the void of the bereavement Doula when she discovered that there wasn’t any available to meet with us. Thank you from the bottom of our hearts, Hannah, for caring for our family and the most vulnerable moments of our lives. We will never ever forget you.
