My son was admitted to the ICU when the Project Night Lights was happening. We had heard about it in the past but had never seen it in person. The idea of seeing all the lights was the only thing that seemed to boost my son's spirits. However, unfortunately because of our room location, we were unable to see them from our room. I ran out to the quiet room to see them and try to capture a picture or video for him. When Hannah came in and asked if she could bring him down in a wheelchair, she loaded up my son and all his equipment just to ease my son's pain. Even if only for a couple of minutes, it was a truly beautiful act of kindness in a very difficult time, and I will never forget it.
