Hannah Fleischer, RN

Hannah had a very difficult patient with multiple diagnoses who was going to discharge. The patient’s wife had called multiple times in the shift and was having a hard time remembering things. The wife showed up and Hannah went in to teach the patient. Hannah spent over one hour explaining the discharge education to the wife and the patient. Not once did Hannah lose her patience. She was very compassionate and truly had a listening ear. Hannah truly exemplified CHI’s core value of excellence. Even though it was through a dismissal she was thorough and explained things more than once to the wife.

Hannah is an all-around hard-working nurse. I have worked with and trained many nurses and with less than 1 year of experience under her belt, you would never know. She is competent, energetic, and always willing to do anything that is asked of her. She truly has a big and caring heart. If my loved one was in the hospital. I would want Hannah as my nurse. She is truly deserving of this award and more!
