I was admitted to be induced at 37 weeks. There are several nurses that were so amazing on the Maternity and Pediatrics floor. There is one nurse that sticks out in my husband and I's mind and that is Hannah. Hannah spent what probably seemed like hours with me trying to search for my daughter's heartbeat as the monitor was not picking it up. Hannah was so comforting to me, husband and mom. Hannah truly showed so much compassion as if she was taking care of her own family member. Hannah held my hand at one point when I became very scared and truly helped me stay calm. Hannah made sure that even though she was working on the other side of the unit the day after we had our sweet girl; Hannah came over to check on us, and to give me a hug. Hannah also made sure to see us before we left the unit to wish us well, and to give me another hug! Hannah by far is a Top-Notch RN!
During that time, I was a patient not an employee at the moment, I had emotions as a patient of how honored I was to have her as a nurse. Then as an employee, I was super proud to know we have so many amazing nurses who work for us! There were so many nurses on the unit that did an outstanding job. I am super proud to have been a patient on that unit, but also an employee that has so much pride in the wonderful staff that works here!

Hannah is often recognized for the care she provides to her patients. She goes above and beyond every day and every shift to provide her patients with a safe and positive healthcare experience. She is the type of person that embraces every situation, patient and family with the same safe quality care, compassion, empathy, and attention to detail that she would want to be provided for her own family. No matter how serious the situation she never forgets the importance of caring for the entire family. She consistently displays unwavering patience and understanding. She understands that how she delivers care to patients and families is as important as the quality of the care she delivers. She knows that a warm smile, an encouraging word, or an empathetic ear can mean just as much. It is her combination of caring customer service and quality that makes her so outstanding and deserving of this award.
