Hannah Germond, BSN, RN
Hannah Germond consistently demonstrates our values through her servant leadership, teamwork, and commitment to supporting both patients and caregivers.
During our recent Q2 caregiver check-ins, Hannah was the most frequently recognized team member by her peers. Caregivers repeatedly described her as an exceptional charge nurse who is always available, approachable, and willing to jump in wherever needed. Multiple caregivers shared that Hannah proactively checks in throughout the shift, rounds consistently, and steps in to help without being asked.
One caregiver specifically recalled experiencing a stroke alert and shared that Hannah immediately stepped in to pass medications and help manage patient care without hesitation. Others described her as "amazing at charge," "always checking in," "always on the floor," and someone who "steps up and steps in." Her positive attitude, visibility, and willingness to support others create a culture where caregivers feel valued and supported.
Hannah's actions have a significant impact on both caregiver experience and patient care. Her proactive support helps reduce stress during busy shifts, allows caregivers to focus on their patients, and ensures help is available when challenges arise. Caregivers described never having to ask for help because Hannah is already checking in and anticipating needs.
