Hannah Hunter 2024, RN

My terminally ill husband was admitted to ICU with surgical repair of a broken femur. To put it lightly, my stress level was beyond measure, and having him come out on a ventilator made it even worse. While I did apologize later, my initial communication with Hannah was a bit stern and unfriendly. I would not only like to commend her for her tact and professionalism but for the time she took today to answer my endless questions on care, treatment, and a laundry list of things. She did all of this while training another nurse, that was shadowing her, communicating with numerous doctors, and covering other patients as needed. She was impressive in her ability to manage all of this and still help us get him extubated.
