June 2023 Honoree
Hannah Keuscher, RN II
I was at a routine OB appointment and no heartbeat at 30 weeks. I was admitted to the hospital and had to go through the unimaginable — a true living nightmare. Hannah was with me for both days and with me during a very tough time while I was delivering a baby that we had so many hopes and dreams for, including giving our 5-year-old the baby sister she so much anticipated, who was due around the same birthdate as hers. Hannah allowed me a shoulder to cry on, a hand to hold, and moments of silence to just grieve. I felt I was in such good hands during delivery with Hannah that I felt good about trying to allow as much normalcy at home to allow my husband to stay with our daughter instead of finding someone else to watch her. I will never forget the tragedy I had to endure for the rest of my life, but I will also never forget the care I received from everyone.
Thank you, Hannah, for your exceptional compassion, advocacy, and dedication to your patients. You truly make a difference.
