Hannah was attentive, intuitive, and compassionate. She took charge of my mom’s care and made sure she had everything she needed and more without asking.
In December of 2022 I was a patient on the brain and spine unit at Rhode Island Hospital, and Hannah was my nurse the first night. She got me off to a strong start after I hadn’t received adequate care on a different unit. Hannah remembered exactly who I was after caring for me one time six months prior, which says a lot about the care she provides and the relationships she creates with her patients. To say I was relieved when I found out she would be caring for my mother in June of this year would be an understatement. The night before Hannah took care of my mom was stressful for us both, and we both needed a peaceful, smooth night of rest. Hannah was attentive, intuitive, and compassionate. She took charge of my mom’s care and made sure she had everything she needed and more without asking. This is not something that all nurses provide, so it was a blessing to have someone as driven as Hannah taking care of my mom. The positive energy that she gives off is healing, but she is also an exceptionally skilled nurse who provides personalized care for each of her patients. The day my mom was discharged, Hannah took time out of her shift to come in and say goodbye and wish her well. Hannah embodies every single quality of an exceptional nurse, and I am so thankful for the care that she provides.
