I was pregnant with a baby girl. It was a high-risk pregnancy because of my blood pressure. I was diagnosed with preeclampsia when I was about 5 months pregnant. A week later, I attended another high-risk appointment and was devastated to learn that my sweet S had passed away, as there was no pulse. That same day, I was sent to Forrest General Hospital and scheduled for a Caesarean.

Nurse Hannah, with her radiant smile, comforted me and prepared me for the C-section. She asked if she could accompany me; her kindness meant everything to me. During the surgery, as the reality sank in, Nurse Hannah wiped away my tears and provided emotional support. After the procedure, I held my stillborn daughter, S.

Nurse Hannah continued to care for me during my recovery, ensuring I was comfortable, clean, and in good spirits. When a new nurse took over the next day, I eagerly awaited Nurse Hannah's return. When she came back, she encouraged me to walk around and shower, showing her constant support and kindness. Before I left the hospital, she surprised me with a box of keepsakes and pictures of S, a gesture that filled my eyes with tears.

As we said our goodbyes, Nurse Hannah's words of appreciation and love for both me and S deeply touched me. Her kindness and care will always hold a special place in my heart, and I know I will never forget Nurse Hannah.

Thank you, Hannah, for your exceptional compassion, advocacy, and dedication to your patients. You truly make a difference.
