J and I had a traumatic time adjusting to the unwanted changes in his life. He initially wasn't sure he wanted to accept the necessary procedures and care required to keep him alive. He was very depressed and had a hard time coming to terms with his conditions. The nurse, Hannah, and the CNA brought brightness to him and me during these hard days. They were both incredibly kind, caring, and personable! They helped him understand the nature of his required care and brought smiles to his face despite the circumstances.
