Hannah has an extraordinary ability to communicate. She meets her patients at their level of understanding and manages to create a calm, healing environment for them. I am in awe of her nursing care and compassion. Hannah is one of those rare individuals who is able to connect on a fundamental level and creates trust with her patients.
Yesterday, I witnessed her turning an AMA into a patient yelling, "I want to live!", instead of, "I want to go home and die!"
Because of her nearly supernatural rapport with those under her care, Hannah deserves to be recognized, applauded and held up as an example of truly compassionate care and therapeutic communication.
