Hannah Pineda, BSN, RN

I was new to the floor so just getting to know the staff. I was in a lot of pain, and Hannah was getting my pills set while also getting to know me/trying to take my mind off the pain. We learned that we had some things in common- namely, both played college ball.

My pain began to worsen, and I eventually had difficulty controlling it. Hannah took over (behind the scenes). I had no idea that the reason I quickly received meds was because Hannah became my advocate. She called everyone she could and never gave up. She also realized that, as an athlete, I won't complain unless I HAVE TO. Hannah helped get me on the proper regimen and continued to advocate on my behalf. She knew I really needed her help and was by my side for every battle!!

My family couldn't be with me and I was in isolation. Hannah made me feel like I DID have family with me - and I will always be thankful for it. She even took the time to joke with me after everything finally settled and then answered all of my questions.

When I spoke of her to the other nurses, each echoed what a terrific nurse Hannah is and also sang her praises. I'd like to formally thank you, Hannah, for your help, support, and guidance.
