The care my mother received from everyone was outstanding, but one nurse stuck out the most for the exceptional care they gave my mom, and that was Hannah. My mom had been battling stage 4 metastatic breast cancer since 2019 and she was coming to the end of her battle. During this admission, my family and I decided to bring my mom home on hospice. Obviously, this was a very difficult and fragile time for my family. Hannah was able to bring a little bit of light to my mother and all of us as we were preparing to bring her home. Hannah was kind, compassionate, understanding, and knowledgeable. She kept me informed the night before my mom came home about her condition throughout the night, and she made sure my mom was comfortable. Hannah went above and beyond, and she not only took care of my mom (the patient), but she was also there for my family, and I. Hannah will always be remembered in my family as the nurse who was there for my mom during one of the hardest and most vulnerable times in her entire life.
