I am nominating Hannah for her outstanding work each and every day, however, one patient in particular sticks out to me. He was a frequent patient due to medical conditions throughout the past few years, so he is well known to many staff. During his stay, Hannah found a special place in his heart and his family. After he had transferred to ICU from PCU, the patient and his family called the unit and asked for Hannah every day. She was a calming and peaceful presence for them during their trying time in his final days. Hannah went out of her way on her day off to come in and check in on his family when she had heard he was not doing well and would soon pass. Her strong faith was displayed to the patient and his family and helped them during the most difficult decisions at that time. He called her his guardian angel.
