Being brought into the ER is scary. I was scared and my breathing was labored and everyone there was doing something to me. Although I don't know Hannah’s last name, she was my ER nurse. She talked to me, trying to take the attention away from everything around me.

She asked me if someone came with me, and I told her that my stepdaughter should be nearby. She told me that she would look for her and promised me that she will find her and bring her to me. She said that she was on a mission and wouldn't come back without her. She was gone for a little while and came back smiling and said I found her.

Her demeanor kept me calm and laughing while they were doing blood draws, x-rays, etc. I really appreciate her kindness towards me. She's a special gift to her patients. My stepdaughter asked questions and she took time to explain and answer all her questions. I also need to say that everyone was so polite throughout my hospital stay.
