Hannah was recognized by the wife of a patient who describes her as a "lifeline" who went out of her way during her busy day as a nurse to update the patient's wife. Unable to drive to the hospital every day to be with her husband, the wife appreciated Hannah's calls, which gave her peace of mind and confidence in the care her husband was receiving. Providing updates and demonstrating her attention to individual patients didn't go unnoticed by this family. The patient's daughter, a 20-year nurse veteran, was impressed with Hannah's advocacy, respect and daily commitment to her father. Everyone agreed she was a "DAISY" during a very difficult time in their lives.
