5/16: My father was sent from the ER to the 6th floor. Hannah came in, introduced herself, and helped my father from the stretcher to the bed. She is so kind and caring for her patients. We were still waiting for the results of his x-ray. Hannah was able to reassure us. She would look into this and why my father hasn’t gone to MRI yet. Hannah made sure we were comfortable and made sure we didn't need anything. The next day Hanna had my Father again, which was wonderful.  We were able to get the MRI done and get the results of the x-ray. We also were able to talk with the PA from Trauma and the Social Worker to figure out a game plan for discharge. PT/OT was able to work with my Father also. Hannah came in several times throughout the next day.

Two days later, my Father was able to eat and order what he wanted. Hannah made sure he had ordered his meals every day and made sure they came up correctly as ordered. My Father was also able to get out of bed to walk with assistance. Hannah made sure he walked twice during her shift. She made sure and went out of her way to make this happen.  

The next day Hannah would seem really busy and apologize but would always come into the room with a smile on her face and would be relaxed as could be. We cannot commend her enough for how wonderful care she gave to my Father.  

My Father was discharged to Rehab. He did not want to go, but Hannah kept encouraging him, saying it might only be a few days. Hannah is an excellent nurse! Hannah made sure things went very smoothly with my Father being discharged and having no trouble. I could not have asked for a better nurse for my Father to have during his stay!
