Hannah Wise, BS, BSN, RN, TCRN

The pandemic has been extremely hard on all of us but especially our nurses. This particular nurse has stood faithfully by our institution showing grace and excellence that we can only hope to emulate. She has been the rock we stand on, the mentor we learn from, and the friend will lean on. I have seen her perform admirably in all situations. She has shared her knowledge and her expertise with many trainees and helped us all to be better. As a physician, I have had the opportunity to work with several nurses but Hannah is one of the best. Her patient care is extraordinary and the compassion she exhibits toward everyone is second to none. While there are many stories and instances of her extraordinary care deserving of a DAISY Award, I feel it is important to nominate Hannah Wise for the strength that she exhibited over these past several years in the face of some of the worst times in medicine.
