Hannah went above and beyond for a young trauma patient who was from another state. This patient was alone with no family, and Hannah made sure she felt supported and cared for. Hannah purchased fun things to put in a care package for the patient such as activity books and coloring books to keep her busy, as well as a journal to cope with the trauma she went through. Hannah even got her hair products and came in early for a shift to brush this patient's hair (which was very tangled and took at least an hour to do). Hannah performed some of the kindest care I have seen an individual perform. I had this patient for Physical Therapy and had difficulty getting her to participate due to pain and being withdrawn. After receiving this care package from Hannah, as well as a mini hair salon, this patient's attitude switched from victim to survivor, and she flourished from there on.
