Harriet Dobbs, Registered Midwife

Harriet coordinated discharges and admissions across Templar and Turpin, and stayed late to do so, on a particularly busy week in the maternity unit. She supported staff across the unit, helped to open an overflow postnatal ward on Defoe, and managed to create enough beds on Templar by the end of the shift for all postnatals. She demonstrated incredible leadership skills in doing this and maintained safety on the wards. Her calm presence and organisation have such a positive effect on the team.
