My mother was a patient at Harper Hospital/Karmanos Center for the past two years. When you have a loved one in the hospital it is not always easy to leave, even knowing that your family member will receive the best care. From past experiences, some hospital visits have been quite interesting, yet challenging. However, some of those experiences changed when my mother would be admitted to the 6th floor of Harper Hospital and would have Mr. Hassan Nehme as her nurse.

Each time she would be admitted to the hospital and on the 6th floor where Hassan was assigned, she would request him. While my mother was there, she and Mr. Nehme had established a great relationship. They made each other laugh, and discussed world issues. Mr. Nehme showed my mother an unlimited amount of love and care. Mr. Nehme was extremely devoted to the well-being of my mother's care. He was extremely accurate when it came to administering my mother her meds and ensuring her care was #1 priority to him.

He is a loyal, trustworthy and phenomenal person and nurse. He exemplifies to all what a nurse should be. Harper Hospital, please know that you have a wonderful, phenomenal and awesome human being and nurse within Mr. Hassan Nehme.
