The patient was admitted on the unit for a few days. The patient was a very large man, 6 foot 6 inches and over 250 pounds and he was uncomfortable in his ordinary bed mattress. He mentioned to Hawa that he prefers an air mattress. She said she would make a note of it but couldn't promise one soon. But the very next day, the patient was given an air mattress and he was very comfortable for the few days he was hospitalized. We appreciate very much Nurse Hawa's efficiency in listening to the patient and acting so quickly to make him comfortable.
