Hazel McFay, RGN

Hazel helped prepare me for surgery and took me to the theatre herself because I was extremely anxious. She was so kind and caring and made it so much better than it would have been without her. She also cared for me when I returned to the ward from theatre. She was absolutely wonderful in the care she provided and the way she provided this care. She’s a lovely bubbly uplifting person to have around when you’re feeling at your lowest and so unwell. A true, true sweetheart and an asset to any nursing team. Thank you so much to Hazel for all the medical care you provided me with but also the support emotionally- you were my saviour through the most horrible experience of my life.
