My brother-in-law recently passed away after a long illness. His last admission included a stay in this unit. During his final hours, Heath brought much comfort to the patient and the family through excellent care and compassionate of my brother-in-law. This nurse always listened and took his time. He was always gentle in his care. Although my brother-in-law rarely responded, Heath always spoke to him and explained what he was going to do. He treated my brother-in-law as a person, not a "job". He took the time to listen to the worries and concerns of the family, which meant so much to them. He was able to keep my brother-in-law as comfortable as possible during his final hours and was very supportive of the family. Thank you!
