Throughout the duration of the time Heath has been in our department, it has benefitted in many ways. For one, we have made many improvements in various procedures as well as equipment, but I would like to recognize him for his dedication to the unit as a whole. Illness this Winter has affected the staff of this department just as it has everywhere else, and he has been there, willing to cover those shifts his employees are unable to. He ensures that the unit's meetings, as well as, rounding is promptly performed, which is an improvement from when I first began working here. I work night shift and he has stayed to lend a hand, making sure that we are not left in a bind many times, sometimes even staying until 2300. I think he obviously goes above and beyond for his employees and is even striving to help this department receive a major designation.

I just wanted to take the time and say how much I appreciate what Heath is doing and has done for our department since he started. He has helped us obtain several, much needed, pieces of equipment and goes above and beyond to cover staffing needs in our department. He stayed for 3 days during the snow storm and made sure that shifts were covered if people couldn't make it in. He works (every week) over his scheduled hours to cover staffing needs here as well.
He is a wonderful person inside and out and as a leader. I'm very proud to call him our Team Leader and believe that he will continue to do great things!
