Employees are expected to perform their duties in a professional and competent manner, but there is the occasion when one performs at a level above expectations. When that occurs, I believe they should be recognized for their outstanding performance. Such was the case with Heather Kendall.

Heather went above and beyond what would be expected in assisting me with learning how to use the medical device, FreeStyle Libre. It was not a simple process for two reasons: One, I am totally blind in one eye and legally blind in the other. Secondly, there were a number of manufacturing mishaps that greatly complicated the process. Nonetheless, Heather stuck with it and devised solutions to the frustrating problems we encountered, enabling me to gain proficiency in the use of this blood glucose monitoring device. Heather should be recognized and commended for her extensive effort and problem-solving that allowed me to gain the skills necessary to operative this device that is critical to my health.
