Heather Bauman 2, BSN, RN

From the moment we were welcomed into the room, Heather demonstrated hospitality, compassion, and attention to detail. She was swift and efficient without conveying a feeling of being rushed. Even though it had been over a month since she saw my father, she recognized that his skin temperature was warmer than normal and addressed it with authentic concern. She remembered how cold he usually gets and mentioned the three warm blankets (the exact # he needs to stay warm), she would be getting him all while completing her other cares.

My dad is in and out of medical settings often – so we are grateful to encounter many ‘really good’ nurses, but Heather was ‘on it’! I imagine she treated my dad no differently than she would treat a family member – she treated him with the utmost DIGNITY. In short, she is a model of the way I hope everyone treats my father. THANK YOU, HEATHER! Especially today, thank you.
