Heather Boggs is an extraordinary nurse who is true to her calling of being a nurse! She goes above and beyond for her patients and families! She has shown this many times during my grandfather’s stay. When he had a medical emergency she was on top of it. When he had a physician not listening to his needs and concerns. She was a patient advocate by going above and beyond. She advocated for him to ensure his needs and concerns were met! He spent his 89th Birthday on CVMU and she made sure it was special! She and her team got him cake, balloons, and a card! Then the team filled his room and sang him Happy Birthday! He told us that these kind gestures made his day very special.
