I came in thinking I was overreacting about my water leaking. Heather said it never hurts to make sure everything is okay. I was leaking and they ended up admitting me to the hospital. Heather just made my whole first labor experience such an easy and peaceful one. She always made sure I was feeling okay with the pain tolerance. It came to the point in labor where contractions got worse and I couldn’t take more. Heather made sure I was able to get the epidural as soon as possible. Heather ended up leaving the morning shift and came back the next morning. I was still pushing and as soon as Heather saw I was almost there to deliver, she stepped in, and no sooner than she came to the rescue my baby girl was born. Heather just had this energy about her that made my labor go so smoothly. She always had a smile on her face. She showed my fiancé and mother-in-law the best experience. After my daughter was born and my fiancé cut the umbilical cord, Heather went over to my mother-in-law and told her congratulations and was crying happy tears. If it wasn’t for Heather, I don’t think my daughter would have been born naturally. Heather was the best. It is nice to know there are so many kind and helping nurses in a time where they are hurting to get more nurses.
