Heather Braden was nominated by her manager. Her manager tells us that Heather saw that her pdeiatric patients were struggling with foods that they wanted to eat. She worked with dietary to create a "kid friendly" menu which patients could choose from at any meal. This allows sick children to eat what sounds good to them. She is frequently mentioned on Press Ganey surveys and in patient rounding as the extra something that made the patients' stay special. Heather is popular with her patients and co-workers. She comes to work with a smile on her face and really makes everything special every day.
